Mike Walker
That's a very useful article, thanks! I'd love to see more posts like that, specifically anything to do with "gotchas" in the IOS profile configuration sections (like "Home Screen Layout profile settings" for example - docs I currently have on that are a little vague about Page & Folder, and what happens with installed Apps when you don't specifically assign any to a page. Do all pages have to have apps specified or if we set 3 pages will they dynamically fill - Previously we only spec'd the apps to go into folders and now folders don't seem to work at all...) RicarPa
This is not a formal document. Just making a comment and trying to address the questions. Comment: We have had a few issues with home screen layout profiles. whenever possible, we split them out. Home screen editing not allowed when using home layout. Apps assigned to a given page will go there. If a page is not filled with apps via layout profile, next app installed will go to the first available spot on the first available page. Folders work as usual. We always use a folder on the last page and title it 'Configuration'. We add Hub, preferences, and any other troubleshooting utility app.
