July 18, 2024Jul 18 Employee These links relating to App Volumes operations are broken currently as the content needs to be updated as far as I am aware. It is being worked on currently. Once the content has been updated the KB's will be available in Omnissa. There is no ETA on this yet im afraid.

July 18, 2024Jul 18 Employee I've reached out the internal team to find out what happened to this KB article. It looks like there was an issue with the migration of some during the move of content to Omnissa sites. They are actively working to resolve this and make these available.

January 10Jan 10 it looks like there's no shortage of articles that have been marked internal in the KB suddenly as I came across several today that were even referenced in other articles troubleshooting completely different issues -- it looks like the common thread between them is that they <gasp> mention VMware within the article, because that's where logfile, registry locations and things have been until these most recent version. i understand the lawyers can be a little paranoid (*cough*email retention policies lower than project lengths*cough*), but it really seems like blocking kb articles might be a bit of an overreach in regards to BC's requirement for rebranding because that's a lot of knowledge that's now suddenly off limits..
January 13Jan 13 Employee I heard back on that KB. @robryan you are correct in your assessment of why this is not currently available. With numerous mentions to VMware, the team responsible for that KB had no option but to unpublish it. Unfortunately, this is a legal requirement that we need to adhere to. I would hope to see it updated and republished using the rebranded App Volumes 2412, which should remove all those mentions.
