Tristan Todd-1 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Is this error message accurate. I'm seeing mention of a 8-host maximum cluster size for instant clone pool provisioning. Is this a View 5.x or 6.x limitation that has been carried forward in the UI? If I'm running vSphere 8 and Horizon 8.x - can I not run 32-node vsphere clusters? See attached screenshot. Thanks everyone!!!
Robin Harmsen Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Perhaps it has something to do with the VMFS? We use a vSAN store with a 37 node cluster withouth problems with instant clones Senior Engineer (SDDC, EUC, DBA, Applications) at the Netherlands Cancer Institute - Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital (NKI-AVL)
StephenWagner7 Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Yeah, I think something else funky is going on. Those LUNs are massive at 32TB, maybe try smaller LUNs, also verify you're using VMFS 6. Is there anything else you can share re: the environment and configuration? Stephen Wagner (President, Digitally Accurate Inc.)
