Hi, can you make a shorter link for the client download like https://www.vmware.com/go/viewclients did? I tried https://www.omnissa.com/go/viewclients but it does not work. ( https://customerconnect.omnissa.com/downloads/info/slug/desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_horizon_clients/horizon_8 )

That's a great question and ask. Hoping that the Tech Marketing team, who frequent the forums, can take this back to an internal team at Omnissa for consideration.

 

The answer is yes.. let me check what we are doing there but I remember a conversation about it where we were deciding what shortener to use. 

and a quick help from Michael Erb gave me the answer. https://omnissa.link/horizonclient

Thanks for the link, Rob! Unfortunately it appears that the redirect was broken during the rebrand. The short URL redirects to https://customerconnect.omnissa.com/channel/public/api/v1.0/products/getProductHeader

with the parameters

locale=en_US&category=desktop_end_user_computing&product=vmware_horizon_clients&version=horizon_8

but I think it should instead use

locale=en_US&category=desktop_end_user_computing&product=omnissa_horizon_clients&version=8

That might be a browser cache thing on your side.  I cleared mine to test and it is redirecting here: 

https://customerconnect.omnissa.com/downloads/info/slug/desktop_end_user_computing/omnissa_horizon_clients/8

I will let our team know though so they can double check it as well!
