Employee Sachin Sharma Posted November 5 Employee Posted November 5 In May 2024, we announced new Horizon and VMware vSphere Foundation for VDI (“VVF for VDI”) combined offerings, now available for customers to buy directly from Omnissa or their preferred Omnissa partner. Since then, we’ve received great feedback as these combined offerings provide customers who previously purchased Horizon with vSphere and vSAN the opportunity to renew and expand their deployments. We've consolidated a set of commonly asked questions about the combined offerings that you can read about here: https://www.omnissa.com/insights/omnissa-horizon-vmware-vsphere-foundation-vdi-combined-offerings/. If you have additional questions about the combined offerings, feel free to reach out to us at VVFforVDIQuestions@omnissa.com. 6 1

We all need to spread the word, as these are conversations I'm having with customers almost daily. Thanks @Sachin Sharma-1! 2 Stephen Wagner (President, Digitally Accurate Inc.) Robin Harmsen Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I saw a post that vSAN within VVF was extended from 100GiB to 250GiB Will this also be extended in the VVF for VDI offering? Source: Bringing More Value and Options to the VMware Cloud Foundation Portfolio At this time, Omnissa is only reselling with the combined offering Broadcom’s VVF for VDI, which only includes 100 GiB as stated in the Broadcom’s public documentation https://ftpdocs.broadcom.com/cadocs/0/contentimages/VVF_VDI_SPD_July2024.pdf. The announcements are about other Broadcom offerings and does not involve the specific VVF for VDI that Omnissa is reselling.
EmilianW1 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 This KB will help me a lot ;). All answers under one link 🙂
Jeff Messer Posted November 16 Posted November 16 We have been trying to resolve this for weeks, if not months between Broadcom and Omnissa. Thank you for linking to this, it explains why there's still been so much confusion. Hopefully by the end of next week we'll have everything cleared up.
