Best way to enroll windows server ?

Hi,

 

We currently have some windows machines with the server OS on it, and used as a client device (don't ask, no choice). Is it possible to enroll them as Windows Desktop devices ? Profiles and config will have the same behavior ?

 

Beside of this, for personnal information, what's the idea of enrolling server ? Is it a thing ? or totally unappropriate ?

Windows server is not supported. I did see a survey though that they were thinking of adding in support for it in the future.

Thank you for your answer ! I posted a little too early my topic, as i tried to enroll the device right after and then i got blocked, so yeah i think i'll just wait
