Jesus Lopez-1 Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Anyone else getting high CPU for the connection servers after upgrading to 2312.1? We hoped going to 2406 would fix that bug but it still remains the same. So far it is not affecting services but we have multiple servers all with the same issue after the upgrade. We tested adding more CPU's but that did nothing.
ishki Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I've observed higher CPU usage in case of a CS that's running on a Windows Server 2022, compared to ones running on Server 2019. However, as we only upgraded one Win server to that newer version, I don't have much statistical evidence of that correlation. You may want to test toggling off settings "Cloud delivered protection" and "Automatic Sample Submission" from Windows Security/Virus and Threat protection/Manage Settings on the windows server your CS is running on. Also, you can define under "Exclusions" that Defender should not scan your Connection Server folders.
Jesus Lopez-1 Posted November 25 Author Posted November 25 Normally I would blame defender but the only thing that has changed is the build. As soon as we went to 2312.1 thats when the high CPU started.
Employee William Reid Posted November 26 Employee Posted November 26 I've seen CPU run high in cases where tunnelling is enabled on the Connection Server with larger environments, but that is to be expected depending on connection count... What processes in task manager are you seeing that are high?
