Posted November 20, 2024Nov 20 Is there an option to disable the Horizon Mac client from going into full screen when connecting to a server? I've looked at these docs, but I don't see these options on my version of the client. https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Horizon-Client-for-Mac/2206/horizon-client-mac-installation/GUID-B821ECF5-D1F5-4D00-8F0C-0EDCBEC6A924.html https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Horizon-Client-for-Mac/2203/horizon-client-mac-user/GUID-CB6B76E2-041A-46A9-AE4F-AF737121E64B.html I'm on the 2406.1 client and macOS 15.1.
November 27, 2024Nov 27 Ciao ZombieKiller Have you tried to set "Use Single Display"? You can set it by selecting the gear (after login with your account to the pod with horizon client) in the right corner of the Horizon client. Select the application or desktop pool and select the "Display" menu, after this on Full Screen option select "Use Single Display". I have the Horizon Client 2406.1 and this option running for me

December 5, 2024Dec 5 For the Omnissa folks, there is a bug in the current Mac client when you have the setting to use only one monitor. When you launch the client, it will show on all monitors. To fix it, all you have to do is open the settings and it will jump to the monitor(s) you have selected. This behavior changed in the last 2 versions of the client that I have been running (Sorry I am not at my Mac to get the current version number). You can work around it, it's just annoying.
