Mason Ma Posted November 26 Posted November 26 I use full clone to publish 1000 machines. Shortly after upgrading to 2023.1, a problem with the machine power management policy occurred, and I cannot use the Always power on policy. Even when I am provisioning the Pool, the VMs cannot start automatically. How should I solve it?
Employee Jon Holloway Posted November 26 Employee Posted November 26 @Mason Ma What errors do you see in Horizon Console and logs? Also, can you confirm the version? Is this 2312.1?
Mason Ma Posted November 26 Author Posted November 26 The "machine shutdown" action can be seen in the HCS logs. However, there is no further confirmation of powering off by the VmController, and even less is there the "powerOnVMTask" instruction for the HCS to call the VC to start up. There is no error information in the logs Yes, the HCS version is 2312.1
Sean Massey-1 Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Do you see any errors on the vCenter side? Have you opened a ticket with support? Mason Posted December 1 Posted December 1 I haven't seen any vCenter side errors on HCS logs I've requested support, but the support is very slow at present and the problem hasn't been solved yet.

Regarding vCenter support, I've looked into Broadcom and Dell and didn't find any errors. I want to check the data synchronization issue of HCS. Since I'm a novice, I don't know how to operate.

If you’re seeing data synchronization or replication errors in a production environment, I would highly recommend working with support. If there are synchronization or replication errors between connection servers, support would be the best to guide you on how to resolve them. If you’re having trouble getting a response, I would recommend escalating. Have you rebooted your connection servers to make sure this wasn’t a transient issue? And can you share the log entries that make you think this is a data synchronization error?
