Mason Posted November 30 Posted November 30 During the registration of iOS.The profile installation failed and the WS1 Console shows Certificate Pinning Validation Failure. How to solve this problem?
Wasim-WS1 Posted December 2 Posted December 2 As I can see, your device is not up-to-date. If any OS update is available, please update it promptly. If you are facing this issue with only one device, I would suggest unenrolling the device, performing a factory reset, and then doing a fresh enrollment. Also, please check the certificate settings to ensure that the certificate profile in your management console (WS1) is configured correctly. Verify details such as the certificate name, expiration date, and target devices. Also , If an existing profile is showing on the device, remove it.
Amine Ayad Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Mason, can you give more context on the issue you are facing? Is this the only iPad facing this issue? How is it connected to the internet (open carrier network or corporate network)? Which method are you enrolling this device with (Device enrollment through a profile installation, User enrollment, Apple Business / School Manager)?
Mason Posted December 6 Author Posted December 6 I think it's a problem with the cloud service. However, we don't have a system administrator account right now to check whether this problem is the cause. I've also checked the SSL certificate and the APNS certificate. Currently, all iOS devices are unable to register. Our devices are not managed by ABM. As long as users register, the devices are in MDM mode.
Amine Ayad Posted Friday at 01:39 PM Posted Friday at 01:39 PM Have you got access to the WS1 UEM console? If so, I will guide you through some essential troubleshooting steps.
ZombieKiller Posted Sunday at 01:31 AM Posted Sunday at 01:31 AM Make sure you have SSL pinning enabled on your console and that there is at least one valid certificate uploaded and pinned for the device services server. 1
