  1. Gave that one a shot and didn't do much for me. Appreciate the idea though.
  2. Been fighting login times with horizon (in my environment) for years with not much luck. However, I am getting a little closer in the past few weeks. The issue now is that I get my desktop in about 60 seconds but m taskbar will not show up for another 60 seconds. Tried looking at different windows settings with no luck and it's getting pretty frustrating. My guess is that it's something in the Optimization tool but not sure. Anyone else have taskbar issues? Any help or comments are welcome. Thanks
  3. Tried them all but all the testing is don't internal and not thru UAG. However when i tried thru UAG i get the same error. Just not thru HTML. Thanks for the reply
  4. Recently upgraded to 2312.1 and a few of my new pools are getting the error when launching. I can get in fine with HTML and if i connect via the UAG. Any thoughts???
  5. I will certainly give that a go and see. It was a VMware tech that told me to remove TPM from the VM and make sure to ADD it when creating the pool. Thanks for the info!!
  6. I did the install manually. i deployed many Win 11 desktops in my days. i did however remove the TPM prior to creating the snapshot to deploy. I followed the KB article on creating and optimizing a desktop. Actually tried it with and without TPM and get the same results. This error message doen't come up on the master image at all. Only when i push out a new image. If there is a different KB to follow please let me know. At this point i will try anything
  7. Needed to upgrade Win11 version from 21H2 to a version that can be updated. My desktop could not be upgraded any further. After building and optimizing my new desktop, all my desktops get an error message as soon as desktop is loaded. The error is Explorer.exe - System Error The system detected a stack-based buffer in this application. The overrun potentially allow a malicious user to gain control... I get this error now on EVERY desktop i try to deploy. I tried a few things when i looked up the error but they are all windows fixes. i don't believe that windows is causing it. I get this on 22H2 Pro, 22H2 ENT, and 23H2 ENT. Once again this only happens once i deploy a new pool. Never had this error on 2206. Now that i am on 2312.1 and still have it every time. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  8. It's the strangest this. What i had to do instead of installing from our network was to put the apps on a flash drive and install from there and even then it was very difficult.
  9. It's been a while since i had to create a new master imager for my Horizon environment. All my current master images are 22h2 and will not update any further. When i create a new image from an ISO everything goes well until I need to install apps. It's very hard to explain but the new windows OS seems to freeze when trying to install any apps at all. i can eventually get some installed but there is something definitely wrong. I have tried different versions of Windows, all of which are supported. i tried to open a ticket but they seem to blame things on Vcenter without any facts. What I am curious about is if there are new instructions (KB) for installing and optimizing a win11 master image. Here is what i have been using.
