Protect Exchange Online

As organisations migrate to Entra ID and no longer rely on connectors e.g. ACC.  How do we manage and secure Exchange Online? as Powershell config (in UEM) requires an ACC.  Granted this goes into Exchange / Email and the second part is do MS have an equivalent Email Management option / security best practice?

Hi,

Powershell integration can also work with ACC, but ACC is not a required component for Powershell integration to work.

The ACC advanced settings allow you to choose whether Powershell communication goes through ACC or not.

So if you're using Exchange Online, I think Powershell integration with "Exchange Powershell" setting disabled in ACC is the best way to manage MEM.

Thanks Akito,

Powershell is disabled as per your screenshot but when configuring MEM settings it is a required field to select the ACC to use, even though it does let you continue.  I think Omnissa need to make that as optional in the MEM settings to make it crystal clear.Screenshot2024-06-19at09_59_08.png.d897c073ee3940a796836805ba4ca314.png
