rodderix
Over the last weeks I noticed that computers, deployed with autopilot are running really slow after the installation. Applications deploys fine, however after a user logs in and starts launching apps or explorer it takes nearly 1 to 2 minutes for the loading screen to open. or they freeze for some time if you open the menu. There is just basic software installed like office or a few other third party apps. Some background, we are running a third party anti-virus (McAfee) and Windows 11 23h2. The computers are Dell Latitude/Precision with 16-32GB of RAM, SSD etc. These machines should not be running this slow to open applications. Task manager show just up to 40% cpu or memory after starting some apps. Any ideas? Thanks
ZombieKiller
Well, there's your problem. It's McAfee. Get rid of that POS software and it will run just fine.
rodderix
Finally it was Windows Defender that was conflicting with Trellix. I had to remove the policy that disables Windows Defender and everything were smooth again.
