Daniel Keer
This is awesome! I was wondering if it would work and was planning to go down this rabbit hole. You've saved me a lot of time. Does it also fully detect the end user's home webcam and mic when using it published on RDS? Frosty
I followed the steps in your article, can't seem to get the application to show up under installed applications when trying to create a pool. I am running server 2019, all pre-req's are met, everything is on the latest version. Got any advice? or maybe a screenshot of the parameters usedon your pool? Dominik
@Frosty did you make for image base on 2019 from the scratch or create new? Sometimes after generalize Windows Teams apps is not accessible, so maybe this is your issue? Frosty
@Dominik I made w whole new image from scratch; I have not optimized the OS at all. I am still running into the issue where teams is not detected as an application in the horizon admin center, but I was able to get it working. I used the same file path you have in your first screenshot and that seems to be working without issues. You cannot call the .exe directly. Dominik
@Frosty which version of agent do you use? 2312.1? Quote Dominik Jakubowski EUC Expert | vExpert ⭐️⭐️⭐️ VDI Ninja https://vdesktop.ninja
Frosty
@Dominik Yes, 2312.1. I also did not optimize teams and the team's icon itself in the start menu does not show up as "Microsoft Teams (work or school)" it is just Microsoft Teams. The base version of Teams I installed is 24137.2216.2931.2440. Edited July 12 by Frosty

Frosty
@Dominik not sure what I am missing, but manually adding the path seems to work just fine. Is your VMware admin account the same account you use to provision the golden image? Another Question - have you figured out how to get auto-updates working?
