  1. FYI - In case you missed the blog - like I did - and you have a few minutes, read up on what Nilesh posted on our corporate blog early last month! https://www.omnissa.com/what-is-new-horizon-with-amazon-workspaces-core-2024/
  2. The URL's necessary to communicate to Horizon Cloud Service - first-gen and Horizon Cloud Service - next-gen are changing on 27 August, 2024. As the organization transitions to the new corporate entity, new URL endpoints are required to communicate to Horizon Cloud Service for all cloud-connected deployments of Horizon. This includes any Horizon 8 environment using the Horizon 8 Cloud Connector or Horizon 8 Edge Gateway Appliance for connectivity to Horizon Cloud Service. It also includes any Horizon Cloud on Microsoft Azure pod or Horizon Edge deployment managed by Horizon Cloud Service. Details are in the KB article linked below. Please read and act to avoid service disruption. https://kb.omnissa.com/s/article/6000056
  3. Hello everyone! We just published a new guide by @Sujay Gopalan on TechZone that covers the basics around packaging an MSIX application with App Volumes 4. You can see the content here: https://techzone.omnissa.com/resource/application-packaging-and-delivery-msix-application This is one in a series of new App Volumes content that is being published on TechZone in the next few weeks. Feedback welcome either here or better using the Feedback mechanism on TechZone by clicking on this icon at the top of the article. Congratulations Sujay!
  4. FYI - @Dan Berkowitz has some cool screen shots on the new functionality in his post here:
  5. Hello there. I just clicked publish on a updated guide - Deploying Omnissa Horizon with Amazon EC2 and Amazon WorkSpaces. This guide covers some new details on implementing Horizon 8 using Amazon WorkSpaces for user capacity. New functionality built jointly by Omnissa and Amazon. @Mike Erb, @Dan Berkowitz, @Nguyen Kim and a few others collaborated with staff from Amazon to update this content. Its a good read for anyone looking to use Amazon WorkSpaces for end-user capacity. No new shocking twist in the plot at the end, just a solution that two tech companies worked on together that works. Feedback welcome. Hopefully everyone will enjoy it.
  6. Hello there. I did some checking and it does not look like there is any method to do what you are attempting to do. The VM pool types that underpin the pool group are the complication. Your best bet is to build a 2nd configuration to your liking and migrate user entitlements there.
  7. @Rob Beekmans Posted a good curation of a bunch of resources for troubleshooting Blast Extreme on the Horizon 8 community. Since Blast Extreme is also the primary display protocol used by Horizon Cloud, most of the content is also applicable to Horizon Cloud. Enjoy!
  8. In case you were wondering where you could find out the current status of the Horizon Cloud Service, including planned maintenance, current issues and stuff like that - check out https://status.workspaceone.com/ Status & Updates for all of our Cloud based services can be found there! Rick
  9. Hey - If you were looking to find details on Horizon Cloud Service, please check out our product page on TechZone - https://techzone.omnissa.com/horizon-cloud-service. While its not an exhaustive list of all content relevant to Horizon Cloud Service, its a set of curated content around Evaluating, Designing, Deploying and some day-2 activities. Give it a look and if you have feedback, use the Feedback button in the upper-right hand corner of the page - Rick
