Aydem
hii, I have a dedicated full clone Windows 11 virtual machine. Sometimes the taskbar icons disappear. Is this a Windows problem? Is there anything I can do about it? As a temporary solution, I restart Windows Explorer and it fixes itself but then it happens again. Solution Dominik Wimmer Posted October 4 Solution Share Posted October 4 (edited) Hi, this is is known bug in Win11, for years already. Microsoft told us (open ticket) it will get fixed in the octobre patchday but yeah, let's see.... Restart the explorer, the whole client or live with it, we also have no other workaround unfortunately. Employee Graeme Gordon Posted October 4 Employee Share Posted October 4 I can confirm that this is a Windows issue and not related to Horizon. I have seen this on physical laptops running Windows 11 and from looking for fixes it also appears to be a long standing and common issue with Windows. I did follow a suggestion to rebuild the icon cache and that seemed to help.

BenTrojahn
Try this: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\StateStore\ ResetCache DWORD 1 Though I may be misremembering :-)
