Employee Scott Kelley Posted October 16 Employee Share Posted October 16 Hi Community, We were recently made aware of the following article - https://www.securityweek.com/iphone-mirroring-exposes-employees-personal-applications/ In the article it claims that when you mirror your iPhone on iOS 18 with your laptop running macOS Sequoia, "their personal applications may be apart of the organization's software inventory and be exposed to the corporate IT department." We have tested this privacy threat internally and confirmed that our Digital Employee Experience agent is not reporting app information of the iPhone when mirrored to Workspace ONE consoles. Below is a screenshot showing the time range of when iPhone mirroring was performed vs apps data reporting in the Workspace ONE console and they were no iPhone app matches.
Employee Marshall Anne Busbee Posted October 16 Employee Share Posted October 16 This is great information. Thanks for testing this new capability and affirming that personal app usage isn't captured!
